This fantasy comic is written and drawn by Wallace Wood. Wood started his career with drawing pulpcomics like Shock Suspenstories, Weird Fantasy, Hercules and many others, but my first encounter with him was through the 'Sally Ford' comics. I like his realistic style of drawing and his sense of humor.
The King of the World contains little humor and is especially an adventure story containing some elements of Arthur's legend. Odkin must also pull a sword from a stone. But the story of Wallace Wood is actually original.
Wood is also known for the eroticism in its comics. Although the Immies love sex, there is little nudity and eroticism in this comic, but the surprising twists in the story, which I will not explain, and the sublime drawing make this album worthwhile to read.
